I have kept previous years work in the galleries to track changing technique and / or subject matter . Im starting this year with a series of Cornish rock studies in winter light . The combination of rugged angles , deep shadows and earth colours provide wonderful subjects. The bird skeleton caught my attention on a woodland path in dappled sunlight. It’s feathers were still brilliant blue ,framing hints of skeleton. The network of interwoven feathers was absolutely beautiful.
