I have four paintings locked away in galleries awaiting release at the end of the lockdown restrictions. Two of them are sold so hoping that the buyers won't have changed their minds after several weeks of time for reflection! The first three weeks at home were unproductive painting wise as I felt detached from reality with regular activities being replaced by a lot of sitting around watching news reports and social media scare mongering. Fortunately ,the need to paint returned despite the temptation to sit in days of dawn to dusk sunshine.This time of year is usually buzzing with exhibitions and competition entries and Im hoping that there will be an opportunity to exhibit in galleries later in the year. In the meantime, its good to keep in touch with artists via social media and look forward to having a proper chat before too long
